Fort Pioint

Rooms That Tell a Story

Fort Point in San Francisco is one of my favorite  places I’ve captured so far for HDR look photography. I loved the place and how it maintained its historic architectural style reflected in its rusty rooms and archways. The bricks, Canons and windows, under ground rooms, the barrels and the center yard, each one can reflect and speaks the history behind that place. The location is kinda hidden under the Golden Gate bridge, I was passing by when its rusty big gate grabbed my attention. It was a rainy windy day and its been hard to keep the tripod sturdy in some places but nevertheless my focus was on capturing the spirit of the place more than quality of outcome. I originally processed the images as colored in my original post but in this round I liked to convert them to monochrome to focus more on the feeling and documentary of the place without colors distractions.
